To open the 2017 ICCA Quarterfinals, I was able to co-arrange "Take Back the Night" with the lead soloist, Jake Darnell. The arrangement features a powerful introduction, an energetic groove, and smooth chord progressions on the bridges. Then, the song features a few "party-like" sections that showcase the fun factor of the group, and finally closes with a newly-interpreted chilling outro that changes the perspective of the song, ending with a powerful reiteration of "Take back the night!"
